It's OK to have Jesus and a therapist too

Get to Know Us

At Rudolph Counseling, we are here to empower and encourage you through the difficult seasons and situations that you are facing.  We can provide a safe place to meet you where you are on your journey, and partner with you while you walk your path.  Our counselors use evidence-based psychological treatment techniques and practices, along with faith-based principles and values. We believe counseling is a sacred trust between you and your counselor. The goal of this trusted relationship is to improve your quality of life by helping you overcome false beliefs, challenge negative narratives, calm your anxiety, resolve conflict, and heal past trauma. Working together, we will identify client strengths, explore healthy solutions, and develop strategies for hopeful living.  As practicing Christians, we appreciate the importance of faith in the process of change and healing. We also recognize faith as a journey in itself. We understand that not every client is seeking support from that perspective; however, for clients who are, we welcome those conversations to be present in your process.

We offer daytime and evening appointments.

In-office, tele-therapy, phone, and walk & talk options are available.

Owner & Therapist, LCPC, CDAC

"Every single one of us will have our life interrupted, whether it's by the ripcord of a diagnosis or some other kind of heartbreak or trauma that brings you to the floor. We need to find a way to live in the in-between place, managing whatever body and mind we currently have."
–Suleika Jaouad

Dealing with constant worry, anxiety, or self-doubt can feel like an uphill battle.  Events from your past might be affecting your day-to-day life, causing you to carry unnecessary guilt, shame, or fear. Maybe you feel like, no matter what you do, you simply aren’t good enough. Or maybe you’ve reached the end of your rope with flashbacks, nightmares, sleep issues, or anxiety attacks. No matter if you suffer from anxiety that you can’t explain or are able to trace your challenges back to specific events in your past, I am here to help you navigate from hurt to healing.

I understand that life is not perfect and neither are we. Sometimes God answers in ways that we don't understand and we can't do it alone. We weren't meant to.  We are made for community.  Our faith is not an easy thing to navigate and I don't have all the answers, but together we can walk through a tough time and see God's hand in it. We were made to need each other and I would be honored to be here for you.

I am a Christian Counselor who is passionate about helping to empower women. I understand the unique needs of women and encourage them to seek and celebrate their true selves. My practice offers a safe space, encouragement, and structure needed for women to embrace their journey of self-discovery.

When your world turns upside down, it can take all the courage you have to hold on.

Life can throw some blindsiding curveballs — difficult transitions, traumatic experiences, profound loss, unexpected and worsening symptoms, relational brokenness, and so many more.  Disoriented as the world begins to spin, we wonder how the dust will settle, and who we’ll be when it does.  The familiar “fake it till you make it” adage leaves us feeling isolated, lonely, and misunderstood by those around us.

I’ve been there, and understand that moments and seasons of life, just like this, take incredible courage to face.  It’s risky to look change and challenge in the eye, but it’s worth it.  You are far braver than you know!  I have witnessed extraordinary transformation take place as individuals and couples decide to get curious about what lies deep down in the core of who they are, and take steps toward authenticity, truth, and healing.  Together, we can work through troubling thoughts, feelings, symptoms, relational struggles, and core beliefs.  Little by little, hope can grow, and newfound freedom will invite you to greater perspective.  Before you know it, your life will be strengthened by growing wholeness and grace, clearer values, and vision for the future.

Through therapy, I offer compassionate care that will honor your story, a listening ear that will celebrate your unique strengths, and a collaborative and empowering spirit.  My training has equipped me to work with youth, young adults, adults, and couples, tailoring therapy to meet your goals and unique needs.  It would be a privilege to join you along your journey.

Through the pieces of a world turned upside down, great creativity is possible.  A new story is waiting to begin.

Do you ever feel lost or lonely? Like, no matter what you do, nobody sees or hears you? Life can be dark and overwhelming, and make us feel alone. But you are not alone. My clients can expect a safe space, where I help guide you to develop the skills to feel connected; seen and heard in your life. My goal is that through our collaborative journey, you will gain an understanding of your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Then through a personalized therapeutic strategy focused on self-compassion, become empowered to navigate through life’s many challenges.

I enjoy working with individuals and couples who are ready for a transformative outcome from their sessions. My ideal client is someone who approaches therapy with a strong desire to experience growth. During sessions, you can expect to face struggles, embrace changes in thoughts, be open to exploring painful memories, and consider new perspectives.

I integrate different techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Reality Therapy to help individuals and couples recognize and reframe patterns. We will work together to notice how conflicts have diminished your love for life or weakened your laughter. Whether you feel like you or your relationship needs a remodel or a complete rebuild, I'm here.

Trauma Based Approach

Support That Makes a Difference

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)

EMDR therapy uses bilateral stimulation, right/left eye movement, or tactile stimulation, which repeatly activates the opposite sides of the brain, releasing emotional experiences that are "trapped" in the nervous system. This assists the mind/body connection, to free itself of blockages and reconnect itself.

Heartmath

HeartMath technology is an innovative approach to improving emotional wellbeing. Learn to change your heart rhythm pattern to create physiological coherence; a scientifically measurable state characterized by increased order and harmony in our mind, emotions and body.

Somatic Embodiment and Regulation

People who suffer from PTSD often experience difficulty regulating their fight-or-flight response. When we sense that we are unsafe, our sympathetic nervous system prepares us for fight or flight by triggering an increase in heart rate, blood pressure, and stress hormone production. Those having experienced trauma can feel stuck in this response or experience it at random times.

Somatic Embodiment and Reegulation  works to control this response and calm the nervous system.  Not only does this allow you to regulate your breathing and emotional response; it also increases connection with both the body and mind.

Animal Assisted Therapy–Come meet our Goats

Animals can provide a sense of calm, comfort, or safety and divert attention away from a stressful situation and toward one that provides pleasure. Advocates of animal-assisted therapy say that developing a bond with an animal can help people develop a better sense of self-worth and trust, stabilize their emotions, and improve their communication, self-regulation, and socialization skills.

Walk and Talk Therapy

Walk and talk therapy is a mindfulness-based body oriented therapy that can make it easier to relax, stop over thinking, release physical tension, breathe deep and receive mind-body insight while processing experiences in a different way. Walking side by side rather than sitting face to face enables some clients to feel more comfortable when sharing in the therapy process.
